Mslexia, tablets and a guest for dinner

  1. I reach for Mslexia, intending to flick through a couple of pages. But it is the weekend, I am finally without demand, so I stretch out a couple of pages becomes a couple more and couple more until I am turning the last without a hint of guilt.
  2. I share my tablet craving with Dad. Unsurprisingly he supports the general gist, as long as it’s an iPad of course.
  3. (i) Roxy looks  at my empty plate, her eyes filled with pain. ‘No left overs?’
(ii)’Well of course I liked staying here – it was one of the best places I ever lived. And no, not just because I *sometimes* got tea in bed.’
